MUMBAI: Unidentified persons fired shots outside filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s residence in Mumbai’s Juhu area in the western suburbs in the early hours of Sunday, officials said.Following the incident, security around the building was stepped up, an official added. “Someone fired on the building. Zonal police and crime branch teams are investigating,” the official said. It was not immediately known whether the film maker was at his residence during the incident, he said.According to preliminary reports, unidentified persons fired four rounds at the building, the official said, adding that no injuries were reported.Teams from the Juhu Police and the crime branch rushed to the spot and initiated an investigation.A heavy police presence has been deployed outside the building, and a forensic science team has also arrived to collect evidence, the official added.
