Prayagraj: A career guidance and counselling programme, conducted as a joint outreach initiative of Selection Centre East, Indian Army, and the public relations office, Prayagraj, under the Ministry of Defence, was held at Jagat Taran School for students of classes 9 to 12 from schools of all the boards in the city, ahead of board examinations. Addressing the students, Commandant, Selection Center (East), Major General Dharm Raj Rai encouraged students to set clear goals, remain focused in their pursuits, and adopt values such as integrity, responsibility, and service to society while shaping their future careers. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 300 students, NCC cadets, and teachers. Principal of the host school Sushmita Kanungo expressed her support for the career guidance initiative.Through interactive discussions and guidance sessions, participants received practical insights into diverse career pathways, emerging opportunities, and the importance of aligning individual interests and aptitude with career choices.
