Gurgaon: The police have arrested two men for forging documents to illegally occupy a residential plot in Sector 109. The matter came to light when the owner, who bought the land in 2002, visited the site on February 3 and found two earth mover machines parked inside the plot and a newly installed gate. The owner filed a complaint with the police, after which Jitendra (38), who is unemployed, and Anoop (42), who is involved in soil dumping, was arrested. Preliminary probe revealed the two became acquainted at a wedding and later planned the encroachment after learning the owner had not visited the property for a long time.
