Ballia News : A young man died due to drowning in Pokhari of Sonri in Middha village of Fafna police station area, the incident occurred on Friday afternoon. On knowing about the incident, the villagers took out the hyacinth by taking out the hyacinth from Pokhari and took out the body of the young man. Police reached the information and took the body and sent it to the district hospital for post -mortem. As soon as the information was received, the police of Additional Superintendent of Police Dakshin Kripa Shankar and Sadar SDM Atreya Mishra reached the spot of Fafna and Sukhpura. Villagers ended the jam on the assurance of action by SDM and Additional Superintendent of Police.
A young man’s foot slipped during hyacinth removal, death
According to the information received, Dhananjay Chauhan (23) son Munna Chauhan, resident of Midha village of Fafna police station, went to Umarganj for wages on Friday morning. He returned home at around one o’clock in the afternoon. When the heat was high, he went for a bath at Pokhari in the village. According to eyewitnesses, Dhananjaya slipped and drowned in deep water during the removal of hyacinth.
Police sent the dead body and sent for postmortem
The nearby villagers, after much effort, took out the hyacinth and took out his body from Pokhari and informed the police. On the information, the lung police took the body and sent it to the district hospital for post -mortem. As soon as the news of the death of the young man was received, there was chaos in the family.

On the other hand, the villagers allege that the young man died due to drowning in Pokhari. The villagers blocked the Ballia-Gadwar road for two hours to demand the removal of the liquor shop. On receiving the information, Additional Superintendent of Police Dakshin Kripa Shankar and Sadar SDM Atreya Mishra reached the spot and assured to remove the liquor shop in a week. After which the villagers finished the jam at around 6:15 pm.
