Additional District Magistrate met and gave guidelines to district level officers

In the Rae Bareli Rabi Marketing Year 2025-26, the purchase of wheat being made from farmers in the district under the minimum support price scheme was reviewed by Additional District Magistrate (Administration) / District Purchase Officer Siddharth.

In the meeting, the Additional District Magistrate (Administration)/ District Purchase Officer gave guidelines to the concerned officials to increase wheat procurement from farmers.
He said that Assistant Commissioner and Assistant Registrar, Cooperative, According to the action plan, ensure wheat purchase at all purchasing centers every day. All the centers in charge will ensure the achieving the prescribed purchase target and weekly goals in every condition.

Daily purchase at any purchasing center of the district should not be zero. This will be ensured by all the officials.

He said that PCFPC and UPSS will inspect the wheat purchasing centers of PCFPC and U.P.S.S. It will also ensure that daily purchases are being done at all centers. If purchase is not being done, then departmental high officials in that case

The ADO of the Cooperative Department will go to the villages under its area and establish a wide publicity of the wheat procurement scheme, going to the villages under their area and will motivate more and more farmers to sell wheat at government centers.

Information about the action taken daily will be sent to the high officials.

The district level officers of all agencies will inspect the purchasing centers in the prescribed number daily as per the instructions given in the purchase policy and will make their reports available with photographs.

Additional District Officer Administration said that on the highest priority of the government, the scheme should be determined by the farmers in the in -charge of negligence / laxity in the purchase of wheat and also ensure action against them as per rules.
