Lucknow: MP Khel Mahakumbh district level competition will be held from 19 to 22 April at KD Singh Babu Stadium. Regarding the preparation of the inauguration, on Friday, District Magistrate Visakh ji held an important meeting in the Collectorate Auditorium and set the duty by handing over the responsibility to the Zonwar officers. Apart from the officials, officials of schools, colleges, ITIs attended the meeting. The District Magistrate informed that students of school and college coming in 8 zones under the Municipal Corporation in Khel Mahakumbh will participate in the program on their zone.
There will be inter zonal competitions between the school and the college. The winning team and participants of each zone competition will participate in the district level MP sports competition. A joint committee of officials of the Municipal Corporation and Education Department has been constituted under the chairmanship of the Regional Additional Municipal Magistrate for organizing the zonal program. The Jonwar nominated the Additional District Magistrate and directed those who coordinate with the committee and conduct the program.
Athletics, volleyball, kabaddi, taekwonds, handball, football, hockey, boxing games have been selected in sports events at the zone level.
