Ballia: IPS Vikrant Veer has been posted by the UP government as the Superintendent of Police of Ballia. In Unnao and Hathras, Superintendent of Police in Lucknow, Superintendent of Police (Rural) and Assistant Superintendent of Police in Ayodhya and Assistant Superintendent of Police in Kanpur, IPS Vikrant Veer, who was posted as Additional Superintendent of Police (North) in Ballia in the year 2017, has been posted as Additional Superintendent of Police (North).
Who is IPS Vikrant Veer?
Vikrant Veer, originally from Nalanda, Bihar, is a 2014 batch IPS officer. He was in the Merchant Navy before becoming an IPS. After passing the Inter examination from Palamu in Jharkhand in 1997, he did his BSc from Marine Engineering College, Mumbai. Along with the job, he continued preparations for UPSC. In 2014, he was selected for IPS. His first deployment was as ASP in Kanpur. After this he was also the ASP of Faizabad and Ballia. Then he became the SP of Lucknow (Rural). Vikrant Veer Commissionerate, who was posted in SP Hathras and Unnao, has taken the post of Deputy Commissioner of Police, Varuna Zone in Varanasi. Vikrant Veer posted as a commander in the 32nd Corps PAC has been appointed as Superintendent of Police of Ballia.
