The Yogi government’s focus is not only on tourism, it also wants to make Chitrakoot a hub of investment, with this intention, the Prayagraj-Chitrakoot development area has been formed by incorporating six districts to attract investors with tourists. It also includes Prayagraj and Chitrakoot along with Fatehpur, Banda, Kaushambi and Hamirpur. Its formation was announced by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath during a meeting held at Mahakumbh. From Ayodhya to Chitrakoot, the government is already developing every important site falling on the Ram Vanagan route. One of the six nodes of the Defense Corridor is also Chitrakoot.
