According to the instructions of the Government and District Magistrate Harshita Mathur, a large cleanliness drive is being conducted in all 980 gram panchayats of the district from April 01 to 30, 2025. In which the work of bushes cutting, drain cleaning, anti -larva and drug spraying is being done through the cleaning staff by applying roster. In which the progress percentage of the district at the state level is commendable.
District Panchayat Raj Officer Soumya Sheel Singh said that today the District Advisor inspired Katiyar conducted a terrestrial inspection of the village panchayat Khanuwa, Surajkunda, Udreheti and Ekona of the development block, in which all the sanitation workers installed according to the roster were found to be present and cleaning.
Apart from this, District Panchayat Raj Officer along with District Advisor Rahul Singh conducted a terrestrial inspection of Gram Panchayat Kathgar and Terukha of Development Block Dalmau.
During the inspection, instructions were given to the Secretary Gram Panchayat and the village head that the garbage coming out of the Gram Panchayat was collected through e-rickshaws and instructions were given to make the villagers aware of cleanliness, along with the District Panchayat Raj Officer, it was informed by the District Panchayat Raj Officer that for the cleanliness, the support of other development blocks (Pt) of other development blocks has been named for the cross verification of employees according to the roster, by which there was an inspection. The work done and the presence of nominated employees is monitored. As a result, by being present by the employees, along with the team spirit, the work of bushes cutting, drain cleaning, anti -larva and medicine is done in the gram panchayat.
