Sources said that the names of observers will be announced on Monday and then the leader of the legislative party will be selected on Wednesday. The swearing -in ceremony may be held on Wednesday at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi, whoever will be elected the leader of the Sadan, will be the next Chief Minister of Delhi. However, there is no clarity yet about who will get this responsibility.

BJP won 48 seats

The BJP has come to power in Delhi after 27 years after winning the assembly elections held on February 5. The BJP ended the 10 -year rule of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Delhi with a stunning victory. BJP won 48 out of 70 assembly seats in Delhi.

Whose name in the race for CM post?

At the same time, the names of many newly elected MLAs for the post of Chief Minister are in discussion. Among those considered to be at the forefront of the top post are Pravesh Verma, former Delhi unit president Vijendra Gupta and Satish Upadhyay. Pravesh Verma defeated Arvind Kejriwal in the assembly elections. He comes from Jat fraternity. In such a situation, he is considered to be among the major contenders for the post of Chief Minister.

Pawan Sharma, Ashish Sood, Rekha Gupta and Shikha Rai, including others, are also being seen as the contender for the post of Chief Minister. Many leaders in the party believe that BJP leadership like Rajasthan, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha and Chhattisgarh can bet on one of the newly elected MLAs.
