Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who reached Mauritius, received a grand reception in Port Louis. He was greeted by top dignitaries, including Mauritius Prime Minister Naveen Ramgulam. During this time he was also given a guard of honor. In his two -day visit, PM Modi will attend Mauritius’ National Day celebrations as the chief guest.
He will meet the President and the Prime Minister and sign several important agreements, including trade, efficiency development and maritime security. The Prime Minister said before leaving Mauritius that the yatra would further strengthen the relationship between the two countries. He also underlined the historical and cultural relations between India and Mauritius. PM Modi shared memories of his 27 -year -old Mauritius visit, saying that relations between the two countries are strong on historical, geographical and cultural basis.
