‘We do not operate under pressure from any nation’: Govt on Trump's Russia sanctions bill

NEW DELHI: India will take decisions in the best interests of its people and will continue to follow an independent foreign policy, minister of state for external affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh said while responding to a question on the Russian Sanctions Bill and its possible impact on India.“The people of India are the top priority for our government. We will take every measure that benefits our public,” Singh said while talking to ANI.

‘We act in best interests of our country’

Singh said India does not base its decisions on the dictates of other nations and will take steps to safeguard the country’s strength and stability.
