Lucknow: An air-conditioned UPSRTC bus was gutted after it caught fire following a collision with a divider on the Hardoi-Kanpur Ring Road early on Saturday.According to fire officials, the bus crashed into the divider of a flyover near Bhapatamau and soon erupted in flames. The fire spread rapidly, engulfing the entire vehicle within minutes and reducing it to a charred shell.Three fire tenders from Chowk and two from Alambagh fire stations were pressed into service, and fire personnel launched an intensive operation to contain the blaze.Officials said no one was found inside the bus, and no injuries or casualties were reported. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be established, though preliminary findings suggest it may have been triggered by the impact of the collision.
