UP News: District Social Welfare Officer Srishti Awasthi has informed that under the Mukhyamantri Group Marriage Scheme run by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, in the financial year 2024-25, for the marriage of daughters of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Minority and General Class Poor people for the marriage of daughters.
The online portal of the Chief Minister’s Group Marriage Scheme is operated. In order to conduct mass marriage, it is necessary that the parents of the girl should be native to Uttar Pradesh, the annual income limit of the family of the applicant should be up to a maximum of 2.00 lakh, in the application made for marriage, the daughter’s age is 18 years or more on the date of marriage 18 years or more It is mandatory and the age of 21 years has been completed for the groom. School educational records, birth certificates, voter ID cards, MNREGA job cards, Aadhaar cards will be valid for their age confirmation. Virgo is unmarried or widow, abandoned/divorced, which is legally divorced, to be remarried, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other backward class applicants will have to present caste certificate.
In the case of the widow, it will be mandatory to upload a certificate of death of a husband issued from the competent level and the subsequences of the court order online for the divorced women. Applicants will have to make their application online on the departmental website https://cmsvy.upsdc.gov.in. Applications can keep the print out safe by submitting the application form. There is no need to submit a hard copy of the application form. According to the auspicious lagna by the committee, the date of mass marriage has been fixed on the month of March 06, 2025. Interested eligible couples should be made online on the portal, so that the mass marriage program can be included in the investigation under time.
