With an aim to make people active and healthy, HDFC Ergo and Zopper have collaborated on a new programme called ‘India Gets Moving’. This programme will also let users avail an Apple Watch for free by just walking 15,000 steps daily. Let us take a look at the details of the initiative and how you can get an Apple Watch for free.

Here’s how to avail Apple Watch via this programme

  • In order to get an Apple Watch for free through this offer, users must complete a walking target for a year.
  • To participate, they need to purchase an Apple Watch and sign up for the Zopper Wellness Programme, which is free.
  • Once they sign up, users will become members of HDFC Ergo’s insurance programme, with Solvy Tech Solutions as the master policyholder.
  • Participants must also sync their Apple Health Kit data with the HDFC Ergo app.
  • If they complete the setup, users can qualify for a refund of up to 100 percent of the Apple Watch’s cost, based on the number of daily steps they take.
  • As per the website, walking 15,000 steps daily for a full year will make users eligible for a full refund.
  • The offer applies to several models, including the Apple Watch Series 10 and Apple Watch Ultra.

It is worth noting that the system tracks daily steps and awards points accordingly, and to get a full refund for their Apple Watch, users must collect 110 points each month. If they meet their target for 12 months, they will get a full refund, making the watch effectively free.
