Born on 28 December 1932 in Chorwad, Gujarat, Dhirubhai Ambani’s full name was Dhirjalal Hiralal Ambani. Dhirubhai’s father was a teacher. Among the four children, Dhirubhai was at number three. The family was big but income was not that, so financial crisis was always harassed.

Dhirubhai raised the empire of Reliance

In 1980, Dhirubhai opened the Polyester fiber thread factory in Patalganga, Maharashtra. Dhirubhai launched the Hazira Petrochemical Plant in 1991-92.
