Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh, women are not only becoming self -sufficient, but are also contributing to the economy of the state and the country. The Uttar Pradesh government has taken the biggest initiative to provide employment to women. To make banking services from village to village 50192 BC Sakhi (banking correspondent) has been completed. The training of all selected BC Sakhi has been completed, with this policy of the government, banking services are reaching people’s homes. People living in rural areas have made it very easy to withdraw money from their bank accounts and deposit money in them, their time and expenses are being saved to go to bank branches and BC Sakhi is getting BC Sakhi in the form of banks close to the house.
State Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has launched many schemes like Mission Employment, Mission Shakti and Mission Kalyan to meet the goal of creating a self -sufficient Uttar Pradesh. According to the program prepared for its implementation, the affiliated departments of the government are rapidly carrying forward. In this sequence, UP Industrial Consultants Ltd (Eupicon) in collaboration with Bank of Baroda and UCO Bank has made 58,000 BC Sakhi (Banking Carispondants) which are engaged in meeting the goal of making the remaining BC Sakhi. BC Sakhi is offering 24 -hour banking services from village to cities.
The Uttar Pradesh government has launched the BC Sakhi scheme to benefit all the women of the state. Under this scheme, all women of Uttar Pradesh state have got new employment opportunities. The program is being organized by the State Rural Livelihood Mission to make Sakhi through groups in the state with Bank of Baroda. UP Industrial Consultants Ltd. (Eupicon) is also playing the role of colleague. Earlier, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ji made BCs through Uttar Pradesh Scheduled Castes, Finance and Development Corporation Ltd. giving employment opportunities to 500 Scheduled Castes. Women have been given priority to make BC Sakhi. In order to become BC Sakhi, it has been made mandatory to pass at least 10th standard in merit. The candidate should also come to run a computer, there should be no suit or police case on him. A small examination is also taken before the selection of such a candidate. In this, the candidate who has passed can become BC Sakhi.
Women joining BC Sakhi scheme are getting respectful work and are also getting a big opportunity to serve people. People are also happy to get immediate banking service. After becoming a BC Sakhi, every month a medium of income has been made to secure the future of women of rural areas. They have got a permanent employment. Under the BC Sakhi scheme, giving banking services door-to-door has become a better means of livelihood. Bank customers have benefited the most from this. They have stopped putting lines and time in the bank and their time to reach the bank is also left. People are taking banking services from BC Sakhi at the village level.
Most bank customers are getting the benefit of this scheme of the state government. A large gift to banking services is being given by the government to the people of the village. The villagers were also saving the expenses of withdrawing money from the bank to withdraw money and deposit. So far, the authentication has been completed by IIBF through RSETI of 50192 BC Sakhi in the gram panchayats of the state. In which 39561 BC Sakhi has done a transaction of Rs 31626 crore while working. With this transaction, BC Sakhis have received a dividend of Rs 85.81 crore. Due to this policy of the state government, women are becoming self -sufficient at the village level.
