Dalal Street is set to enter the final trading session of the week, with investors tracking a mix of domestic and global cues after benchmark indices extended their losing streak in the previous session. Sensex and Nifty gave up strong intraday gains to close lower, reflecting continued caution across the market.

Crude oil prices remain a key factor for the market outlook, while elevated global bond yields and continued foreign fund outflows have added to the pressure. Asian equities have presented a mixed picture, with Japan, Shanghai and Hong Kong trading higher, while markets including Australia and Malaysia remained under pressure.

Oil prices, meanwhile, have remained largely steady after gaining in the previous session, as markets assess developments around US-Iran peace talks and the recovery in Middle East crude exports. Investors continue to track movements in crude, global yields, inflation expectations and the broader monetary-policy outlook.
