Lucknow: After Jaipur, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Bengaluru, leading voices from govt, industry and renewable energy sector gathered in Lucknow on Thursday for the sixth regional roadshow for the Bharat Renewable Energy Summit & Expo (BRE Summit) 2026.The Lucknow edition brought a distinct regional dimension to the outreach series, convening representatives from Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Bihar on a single forum.The roadshow was hosted by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE).UP energy minister AK Sharma, chief guest for the event, said: “UP is committed to playing a leading role in India’s clean energy transition by accelerating renewable energy deployment and creating a conducive ecosystem for investment, innovation and industry participation.”He invited industry, investors and clean energy stakeholders from across India and the world to participate in the Summit and partner with UP in building a cleaner and more sustainable energy future.Additional chief secretary, energy, Ashish Kumar Goel said, “UP is rapidly emerging as a significant force in India’s renewable energy landscape, supported by a progressive policy framework. With robust transmission infrastructure, the state is well positioned to support the next phase of clean energy growth.”He welcomed investors, industry and technology partners to explore the opportunities emerging in UP.
