Lucknow: Sarojininagar MLA Rajeshwar Singh met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and raised issues concerning more than 10,000 families living in Sushant Golf City and thousands of homebuyers, allottees, landowners and investors associated with the Ansal API high-tech township spread across 31 villages.Singh urged the Lucknow Development Authority to immediately approach the National Company Law Tribunal in the insolvency case involving the project, take the township under its control and complete pending development work. He also sought effective utilisation of around 25% mortgaged land and development and handover of the township in accordance with development agreements, MOUs and the UP Hi-Tech Township Policy.Singh said he had consistently advocated for homebuyers and their rights, including before the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal. He also referred to an NCLAT order dated Jan 7, 2026, which was upheld by the Supreme Court on April 16.The MLA also raised the issue of uninterrupted power supply in Sushant Golf City, seeking an increase in electricity load from 10 MVA to 23 MVA. He further requested a waiver of the ₹8.28-crore delayed surcharge.Chief minister took cognisance of the issues and assured early action, said Singh, adding that govt’s prompt response would help protect the homes, investments and rights of thousands of families associated with the township. He reiterated his commitment to addressing their concerns and ensuring completion of pending development work.
