Raebareli Local News Today ! On the third day of the 10-day UP Trade Show Swadeshi Fair 2025, organized at the GIC Ground in Rae Bareli district (9-18 October), as per the instructions of District Magistrate Harshita Mathur, under the “Mission Shakti Phase 5.0” campaign being run in the district, “Shakti Samvad” program was organized under the chairmanship of District President Buddhi Lal.
The people present in the program were informed about women empowerment, self-defense and various schemes being run by the government. Motivated the girl students to play their role in the society with confidence and awareness. Along with making the students aware about their rights towards the schemes run by the Women Welfare Department, they were also made aware about many topics related to women’s health and women’s safety and empowerment. The objectives of Mission Shakti were explained in detail to the girl students and inspired them towards Beti Bachao Beti Padhao.
Besides, pamphlets of departmental schemes were distributed creating awareness about Kanya Sumangala Yojana, Widow Pension, Child Service Scheme, Disabled Pension, Matritva Vandana Yojana, Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana and nationalized toll free helpline number 1098, 181, 1930, 112, 1090 etc. On this occasion, District Development Officer Arun Kumar, District Probation Officer Jaipal Verma, former Municipality Representative Mukesh Srivastava, GM DIC, District Coordinator Shafali Singh, Gender Specialist Pooja Tiwari, Sushma Kashyap, Child Helpline Coordinator, Member, Child Welfare Committee, Child Protection Officer Virendra Pal, Shraddha Singh, S.S. Pandey along with other officers and employees were present. Everyone appreciated this meaningful event of Mission Shakti and expressed their support towards women empowerment.
