The Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) near Bolan in Balochistan, Pakistan on Tuesday, hijacked an express train and took 450 passengers hostage. After a military campaign, which lasted more than 24 hours, the Pakistani Army claimed to kill all fighters and freed the train. The BLA has also spoken of killing several military officers in the struggle. Balochistan is the largest province in Pakistan, where there is a lot of natural resources, but despite this, people here are victims of neglect and repression.

In 1947, the British government gave it the option to connect with any of independence or Indo-Pak. At that time Baloch leader Ahmed Yar Khan advocated independence, but later Pakistan put up military pressure and joined it in 1948. After Balochistan joined Pakistan, there were several rebellions, including conflicts in the 1948, 1958, 1962, 1973 and 2000s. Baloch organizations allege that the Pakistani army targets the citizens there. According to the report of Amnesty International, the Pakistan Army adopts the policy of ‘kill and throw’. The growing anger against Pakistan in Balochistan is constantly strengthening the separatist movements in the region.
