For the smallest of homes, a portable pooja box or a wooden chowki is a charming solution. Idols, a small thali, incense and a bell can be stored together in a single box and brought out only during prayers. Spread a clean cloth on a chowki, set the items on it and begin the pooja. After the prayers, everything goes back in the box. It is ideal for hostels, rented rooms and joint family homes where space is shared by many people.
