Natural Star Nani is one of the most prolific actors from Telugu cinema known for his realistic and grounded acting style. After much anticipation since his last outing in 2025 action thriller ‘HIT 3’ the actor is now coming on the big screens reuniting with Srikanth Odela in ‘The Paradise’. ‘Jersey’
One of the widely celebrated performances of Nani remains in the 2019 sports drama film ‘Jersey’ directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri. In the film, he can be seen playing the character of Arjun Talwar who is a failed cricketer in his mid-30s. He decided to mark his comeback in Ranji Trophy to fulfill his young son’s wish for a Team India Jersey. Shraddha Srinath played the female lead, Sarah, and the film also featured Sathyaraj. ‘Eega’
In the fantasy film ‘Eega’ helmed by SS Rajamouli, Nani played the role of a young man also named Nani in the film. His character gets murdered by a wealthy, obsessive businessman who is the main villain played by Kannada star Sudeep. He kills Nani out of jealousy over unrequited love for Nani’s girlfriend, Bindu played Samantha Ruth Prabhu.Nani is reincarnated as a housefly, and the rest of the story follows his fly form as he tries to protect Bindu and take revenge on Sudeep.The film received huge acclaim for its groundbreaking VFX and showing a fly as a protagonist.
‘Bhale Bhale Magadivoy’
The film is a romantic comedy film where Nani is seen playing Sanjay, a young man who is suffering from a rare short term memory loss. In this condition, he forgets things from the previous day almost every night. This situation creates comical and emotional complications throughout the film. The film shows him falling in love with Deepthi played by Lavanya Tripathi.
‘Pilla Zamindar’
Released in 2011, Nani played the lead role of Praveen Jayaramaraju in the G. Ashok directorial. The movie shows him playing an arrogant grandson of a wealthy landlord. As he is set to inherit his grandfather’s wealth, but he has to fulfill certain conditions first. The condition is that he has to complete graduation as a common individual without any luxuries in a small government college within three years.
‘Ala Modalaindi’
The romance comedy film ‘Ala Modalaindi’ showed Nani as Gautham working as a reporter for a television channel.
