'Jackie': First look poster of Dhruv Vikram starrer reveals a fierce new avatar

Following the success of ‘Bison,’ the young actor, Dhruv Vikram, has officially unveiled the title and first look of his upcoming project. Directed by Karan Arvind Kumar, the film is titled ‘Jackie.’ The first-look poster has already created curiosity around Dhruv’s new character and the film’s overall style. The project is said to be a romantic action entertainer.

Dhruv Vikram’s ‘Jackie’ first look poster creates buzz

The ‘Jackie’ first look gives a clear hint about the film’s action-heavy world. Dhruv Vikram is seen in a striking cartoon-style pose, appearing ready for a fight, suggesting that the actor will be seen in an intense new avatar. More importantly, the film is the official Tamil remake of the 2024 Hindi action thriller ‘Kill.’ The original film, directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, became known for its high-energy action sequences and intense train-set storyline. While the Tamil adaptation is expected to retain the action core, the makers have promised a commercial treatment. The poster has therefore raised expectations about how Dhruv will approach the lead role.

Dhruv Vikram’s ‘Jackie’ cast includes Prithviraj and Sai Dheena

While details about the story and Dhruv Vikram’s character are being kept under wraps, the film is expected to feature a strong supporting cast. Prithviraj and Sai Dheena are reportedly part of the project. The combination of a young lead, an action-based storyline, and a romantic angle has already made the film one of the projects to watch. The first look is expected to offer the first glimpse into the world created by Karan Arvind Kumar, who is directing the project.

Dhruv Vikram moves to action remake

Dhruv Vikram made his acting debut with ‘Adithya Varma,’ the Tamil remake of the Telugu hit ‘Arjun Reddy.’ He later shared the screen with his father, actor Chiyaan Vikram, in Karthik Subbaraj’s ‘Mahaan.’ Although the film premiered directly on OTT, Dhruv’s performance earned appreciation. He then took on a physically demanding role in ‘Bison’ under Mari Selvaraj. With ‘Jackie,’ Dhruv is now taking on a completely action-oriented project.
