The Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) has introduced the Jhatpat Connection Scheme, under which UP residents can get an active electricity connection within ten days from the date of application. They need to simply visit the official UPPCL website, also known as the Jhatpat portal to apply for the same.

Applicants can get an active Jhatpat connection within ten days from the date of application submission on the Jhatpat portal.

UPPCL Jhatpat Scheme: Steps to Apply for a New Jhatpat Connection

Follow these simple steps on the Jhatpat Yojana portal to apply for a Jhatpat Electricity Connection without any hassle.

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Department, also known as the Jhatpat portal at upenergy.in/uppcl/en

Step 2: Go to the Consumer Corner section and click on the Apply for New Electricity Connection option available under the Connection Services tab.Step 3: Once done, a login window will appear on the screen. Click on the ‘For New Registration Click Here’ option if you are a first-time user. However, if you are already registered on the Jhatpat portal, enter your credentials and proceed with the application process. 

Step 4: To register on the Jhatpat UPPCL portal, fill in the registration form by providing your basic details such as name, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number. Next, enter the displayed captcha and click on register. 

Step 5: Next, an OTP will be sent to the provided mobile number for verification purposes. Enter the OTP and complete the mobile number verification process. 

Step 6: Once the OTP verification is done, your unique Jhatpat login credentials will be sent to the registered mobile number. You can use these credentials to login to the portal anytime. 

Step 7: Provide all the essential documents and wait for the UPPCL Jhatpat Connection Department to verify your details. You may get the confirmation for the same via an SMS sent to your registered mobile number. 

Step 8: Once all the details are verified, the Jhatpat Electricity Connection Meter will be installed at your residence within ten days. 

UPPCL Jhatpat Scheme: Steps to Apply for a New Jhatpat Connection for a Private Tube Well

Here are a few simple steps to follow on the Jhatpat portal to get a Jhatpat Electricity Connection for a private tube well.

Step 1: Visit the Jhatpat portal at upenergy.in/uppcl/enStep 2: Go to the Consumer Corner section and click on the Apply for New Electricity Connection for Private Tube Well option available under the Connection Services tab.

Step 3: On the next screen, you will get two options - Online Application and Offline Application. You need to select the Online Application option to go ahead with the application process.

Step 4: Click on the ‘For New Registration Click Here’ option if you are a first-time user. However, if you are already registered on the Jhatpat Yojana portal, enter your credentials and proceed with the application process. 

Step 5: Fill out the registration form by providing your basic details such as name, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number. Next, enter the displayed captcha and click on register. 

Step 6: Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number in the space provided for verification purposes. 

Step 6: Once the verification is done, your unique login credentials will be sent to the registered mobile number. 

Step 7: Once all your details are verified, the Jhatpat Electricity Connection Meter for your private tube well will be installed within 10 days.

Follow these steps to manage your Jhatpat Electricity Connection on the Jhatpat UPPCL Portal. 

Step 1: Visit the Jhatpat Portal or UPPCL Online Portal at uppclonline.com and click on the My Connection button

Step 2: Provide your Jhatpat Connection Account number and password to access your profile details. You also need to enter the right captcha to log in successfully.

Step 3: Once logged in, you can manage your Jhatpat Connection profiles with ease.

UPPCL Jhatpat Scheme: How to Change a Load/Name/Category in a Jhatpat Connection

Here are a few simple steps to help you apply for a load/name/category change in a Jhatpat Connection using the Jhatpat UPPCL Portal.

Step 1: Visit the Jhatpat UPPCL Portal at uppclonline.com and go to the Consumer Services section

Step 2: Click on the Load/Name/Category Change Request button available in the Connection Related Services section.

For ownership change, applicants need to submit an application form to the Stamp Duty and Registration Department of UP. After the application gets verified, the UPPCL Authority issues Jhatpat Portal credentials to the applicant. They can then use these credentials to login to the online portal.
