To log in to Google Search Console, follow these steps:

1. Go to Google Search Console

2. Sign In with Your Google Account

  • Use the same Google account that manages your website (e.g., Gmail or Google Workspace account).

  • If you’re not already signed in, Google will prompt you to log in.

3. Verify Website Ownership (If Required)

  • If it’s your first time accessing Search Console for a specific website, you may need to verify ownership.

  • Common verification methods:

    • HTML file upload (to your website’s root directory)

    • DNS record verification (via your domain provider)

    • Google Analytics/Google Tag Manager (if already set up)

    • HTML meta tag (added to your site’s <head>)

4. Access Your Dashboard

  • Once verified, you’ll see your Search Console dashboard with performance reports, indexing status, and other tools.

Troubleshooting Login Issues

  • “You don’t have permission”: Ensure you’re using the correct Google account with ownership rights.

  • Verification failed? Double-check the method (e.g., DNS changes may take time to propagate).

  • Forgot account? Try account recovery at https://accounts.google.com.
