Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, saluted him on the birth anniversary of Bahujan Samaj Party founder Kanshi Ram. He wrote in the social media post that his struggle for the rights of Dalits, underprivileged and exploited will remain an inspiration for the Congress.
Many leaders including Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra paid tribute to Kanshi Ram. Kharge described him as a symbol of social justice, while Priyanka Gandhi said that her views will continue to inspire generations to come.
