Bahraich: A 10-month-old girl playing in the courtyard of the house on Thursday evening in the village panchayat Rehua Mansoor under Ramgaon police station in the district, her minor brother beat her to death with brick and sticks. When the family took the girl to the nearest hospital. The doctors there declared the girl dead. Police reached the spot and interrogated the family and sent the body for postmortem. However, sensation has spread throughout the village since this incident.

According to the jurisdiction DK Srivastava, Ramanand Mishra, a resident of Rehua Mansoor village of Ramgaon police station, lives in a joint family. Told that his 10 -year -old grandson was playing with his sister in the courtyard of the house. At the same time, his mother was cleaning the utensils. During this, there was a fight between the siblings. After which the grandson stabbed a 10 -month -old granddaughter with poles and brick. Suddenly, after hearing the scream of the girl, the mother ran to save her daughter.

After which she took the daughter in her lap and reached the nearest hospital. Where the doctors declared him dead. Police reached the spot as soon as the information was received and questioned the family members. After this, the body was sent for postmortem. Ramgaon in -charge inspector said that at around 7.30 pm, information was received at the police control room that the minor brother beat up his 10 -month -old sister with a brick and stick. Statements of family members have been recorded.

The inspector in -charge said that Nabaling had stabbed his sister’s face and body with a rage. Due to which he died. There is panic in the minds of the villagers since the incident. Neighbors say that the minor brother is mentally deranged. He can attack any young child. At the same time, the police believe that the act done by the minor does not fall under the category of crime.
