Brigadier Sanjay Kumar Mishra
Lucknow: Brigadier Sanjay Kumar Mishra, an ophthalmologist at Army Hospital (Research and Referral), New Delhi, has been awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (FRCOphth), London.The Directorate General of Armed Forces Medical Services said Mishra is the only Indian to receive the fellowship this year and the first ophthalmologist from the Armed Forces Medical Services to earn the honour.Mishra was also awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCS Ed) on June 25. Only two ophthalmologists received the fellowship this year, both Indians. DGAFMS congratulated Mishra on the achievements.He hails from Mau district.
