Tom Cruise has gone from cheering alongside Taylor Swift at an NFL game to joining Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce for a special episode of their popular podcast, New Heights.The Hollywood star is set to appear as a guest on the Kelce brothers’ podcast in a episode, which the hosts teased on their social media handles with the message, “BANG, BANG, BANG!! TOMORROW.”A teaser from the pre-recorded conversation shows the brothers putting Cruise on the hot seat and talking about a range of subjects, including asking him to deliver his character’s trademark line from his upcoming film ‘Digger’. The moment appeared to leave Jason particularly excited, with the former NFL star exclaiming, “Woo!”Cruise’s appearance comes days after he was spotted attending an NFL game with Travis’ superstar wife, Taylor Swift. The actor made headlines when he was seen sitting alongside Swift in the Kelce family’s VIP box and joining the celebrations as the Chiefs scored.The ‘Mission: Impossible’ star has also reportedly been among the celebrity guests at Swift and Kelce’s star-studded wedding in July. The podcast episode also comes as Cruise begins promoting his next major film, Digger, directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Alejandro G. Inarritu.In the film, Cruise plays Digger Rockwell, an immensely powerful oil tycoon whose empire becomes entangled in an ecological catastrophe with consequences reaching the highest levels of power. As the crisis threatens to spiral into a global disaster, Digger finds himself at the centre of a mess he is convinced only he can fix.The film blends dark humour, satire and unpredictable turns as Digger races against time to regain control of a situation that may have been partly of his own making.Cruise stars alongside Oscar winner Riz Ahmed, John Goodman, Oscar nominee Sandra Hüller, Michael Stuhlbarg and Oscar nominee Jesse Plemons.
