Varanasi News: A heartbreaking incident has come to light with a minor teenager in Chaubepur police station area of Varanasi. Two youths from the village took the teenager hostage and raped her and escaped. The accused threatened that if he complained to anyone, he would kill the whole family.
The victim became pregnant after the incident. He pleaded for marrying the accused or helping in abortion, but did not get any help. When the family demanded justice from the family members of the accused, they refused to talk citing ‘non -caste’.
Tiredly, the victim reached the police, but there too she got only assurance for ten days. Finally on Saturday, the police registered a case about six months after the incident.
A case has been registered against both the accused on the tahrir of the family. The police raided the house of the accused after questioning the teenager, in which one youth has been arrested, while the other is absconding.
According to preliminary information, the teenager’s mother is silent and disabled, while the father is mentally unwell. The condition of the victim is deteriorating due to completion of six months of the womb. His medical examination is being conducted and the police is investigating the case.
