UP News Management to provide more benefits by processing the yield of farmers

The property scheme of the Central Sector has been launched by the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana for the development of agricultural maritime product processing, agricultural processing groups, which is also run in Uttar Pradesh. The scheme is a comprehensive package, which creates modern infrastructure with efficient supply chain management from farm to retail sales centers. With this, not only the growth of food processing sector in the state is gaining rapid pace. Rather, it is a major step towards giving farmers better prices and doubling the income of farmers, creating huge employment opportunities especially in rural areas, reducing the waste of agricultural produce, processing and increasing the level of export of processed foods.

The main objective of this scheme is to benefit the farmers on a large scale under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana. Farmers should get modern infrastructure, farmers can manage their produce properly, can reach the market on time and work on a large scale and provide new employment opportunities to provide employment to people by creating new employment opportunities. It has often been found that due to lack of proper development of infrastructure, there is neither storage of agricultural produce nor help in processing.

Under this scheme, by making cold chains and agro processing clusters, the objective of this scheme is to benefit farmers maximum. Under this scheme, Mega Food Park Center of Excellence is being built in the state. Where units are being established at the collection center, primary processing centers of various food items, fruits and vegetables etc. It aims to provide integrated cold chains and protection structure from the farm to consumer from the farm to consumer. Under this scheme, the creation/expansion of food processing/conservation capacity and modernization of units are done. Infrastructure will also be constructed for agro processing clusters. Uttar Pradesh is second in the Center of Excellence built with Indo-Israel Technology in the country.

In this scheme, the availability of raw materials and the work for the construction of forward linkage from backward ends are done by linking with the market. The scheme is facing food safety and quality assurance infrastructure, from where the food products will complete the criteria set by the food safety regulator. Modern infrastructure is being constructed with efficient supply chain management from the medium to retail outlet from the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana. This will promote the development of food processing sector in the country and increase exports from good quality food items. This scheme will increase the income of farmers of the state and increase the revenue of the state.

Additional capital investment grants are being given to the food processing units to be established in the state under the Prime Minister’s Kisan Sampada Scheme to a limit of 10 percent of the grant amount sanctioned by the Government of India. Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana, the efficient efforts of the Chief Minister of the state, Yogi Adityanath ji, have been approved by the Government of India to establish projects to private sector investors in the field of food processing, in which investment has started, millions of people will get direct and indirect employment and the state’s food processing sector will get modern infrastructure facilities.
