Reality TV personality and social media influencer Kash, whose real name was Mackayla Paige, has sadly passed away. She was 29.The reality star, known for her work on ‘Young & Reckless’, was shot dead in downtown Oakland, California, early Sunday morning, TMZ reports. A woman from nearby Richmond has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting.According to police records, officers responded to reports of gunfire at around 1.30 am on Sunday and found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound. She was reportedly taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.Graphic videos of Kash’s final moments also appear to be doing the rounds on social media, with her face reportedly blurred out in the clips. The videos, however, are unverified. Other clips circulating on TikTok after the shooting also showed a heavy police presence outside Cave Lounge, near 14th and Harrison streets. Investigators have not yet confirmed whether the shooting took place inside or outside the establishment.Authorities have arrested a woman in connection with the shooting but have not publicly disclosed her identity or the circumstances that led to the incident. The investigation remains ongoing.In a heartbreaking detail, Kash had shared videos on her Instagram Stories on Saturday night, showing herself enjoying an evening out with friends just hours before she was shot dead.Speaking to KTVU, her cousin Nicky Clayton said she was struggling to come to terms with the loss. According to Clayton, Kash had big dreams of becoming famous and starting her own business.A makeshift memorial has been set up at the scene of the shooting, as friends, family and members of the community mourned her death and paid their respects.Police have not released further details about the case, and the investigation into the fatal shooting is continuing.
