Lucknow: Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak on Monday hailed teachers as the true architects of society, saying they play a pivotal role not only in imparting education but also in shaping the character, personality and future of the younger generation.Addressing the annual convention of the Teachers Federation of India in Lucknow, Pathak said a nation’s progress depends on its education system, with teachers forming its strongest pillar. He said teachers prepare students to face life’s challenges while instilling values, discipline, responsibility and a sense of national duty. He said efforts were being made continuously by govt to address their concerns and further improve the education system.He highlighted UP’s development trajectory, claiming the state had emerged as a key driver of PM Modi’s vision of a developed India. Attacking opposition parties, Pathak said BJP seeks public support on the basis of development, good governance and public welfare, rather than caste or religion. He said people in UP were experiencing the benefits of improved governance, security and economic growth.
