Priyanka Chopra on backing ‘Hunkkaar: The Roar’
Speaking to Variety India about backing the series, Priyanka Chopra Jonas said she has always wanted to support stories with a strong point of view. She also praised the show’s filmmakers, Nitya Mehra and Karan D Kapadia, and highlighted Purple Pebble Pictures’ focus on giving creators the freedom to tell distinctive stories.“As a producer, I’ve always wanted to stand behind stories that have something to say, and ‘Hunkkaar: The Roar’ is very much that. I also really believe in Nitya and Karan (Nitya Mehra and Karan D Kapadia) as filmmakers.
