Will there be The Traitors season 3? Here’s what we know so far about the Prime Video show

The Traitors season 2 came to an end with Krystal D’Souza and Rida Tharana taking the winner’s title. The two played a fabulous game, and fans had been rooting for them to win, especially Krystal, since she was the traitor from day 1 and nobody could figure it out and eliminate her. Now that the season has ended, fans are wondering if the game show is going to come back for another season or not. While there is no official confirmation yet, here’s what we think could happen.

​As mentioned above, the makers have not shared whether the show is going to be back for a third season or not, but if we look at how people were following the show and how much it was talked about, there is massive potential for it to come back. Social media was full of reels and discussions as soon as the episodes were released, and everyone found it interesting even though they thought it was cringe (guilty pleasure, you know). The show, hosted by Karan Johar, was able to create a lot of conversation around how it kept people hooked, and everyone waited for episodes to drop every week, so considering its popularity, the show should make a comeback with another season.

By the finale, Mallika Sherawat, Sahil Salathia, Dalip Tahil, Shalini Passi, Krystle D’Souza, and Rida Tharana remained in the game. The final round became a tense test of instinct and trust, with accusations flying as the contestants tried to identify the remaining Traitors. In the end, the game came down to Krystle and Rida.
​After successfully hiding their true identities throughout the season, the two Traitors took their biggest gamble yet by deciding to trust one another. Their strategy paid off, and Krystle and Rida finally revealed themselves as Traitors.

​According to Prime Video, after winning the show, Krystle said that while people may think it’s nice to be a Traitor, it was actually a lot to take.

​She was quoted saying, “Being a Traitor sounds glamorous until you actually have to lie every day to people you genuinely like. Since I was a Traitor from the very beginning, I knew over-explaining or getting defensive would give me away. So I learnt kab bolna hai, kab chup rehna hai, and when to just smile and sit back. I survived suspicion, accusations, and being thrown under the bus. I even told Karan, ‘Boo ke baad main hi yahaan ki billi hoon,’ and somehow, I kept landing on my feet.”
