Lucknow: Police probe has revealed that Manas used three firearms in the double murder and suicide. All three weapons — two pistols and a country-made .32-bore firearm — were recovered from his house near Husadiya Crossing in Gomti Nagar. Police are probing how Manas obtained the weapons and who supplied them.According to the forensic science laboratory examination, Divya was shot in the occipital part of the head. Sheeba was hit by a bullet on the right side of her earlobe. Manas too shot himself on right side of earlobe.Police are now examining them for ballistic evidence, including fired cartridges, bullets and other forensic traces, to establish which weapon was used in each firing.Police are trying to find whether Manas acquired the weapons from one source or different persons.Police will examine Manas’s contacts, movements and communications to establish how he gained access to the firearms. The ballistic examination of the seized weapons and comparison with evidence collected from the crime scene will be crucial in reconstructing the sequence of the shootings.
