Veteran actors Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra took to social media to share rare and heartfelt photos with late actor Manoj Kumar, who passed away on Friday at the age of 87. Kumar breathed his last at a Mumbai hospital after battling age-related health issues
While Bachchan attended Kumar’s funeral at the Pawan Hans crematorium on Saturday, Dharmendra paid his respects by visiting the late actor’s residence.
Bachchan, who worked with Kumar on the 1974 film ‘Roti Kapada Aur Makaan’, posted a black-and-white photo of the two sharing a warm embrace on his blog. “In remembrance… and prayer in grief,” Bachchan wrote alongside the emotional picture.
Later, Dharmendra shared a photograph with Kumar from their time together on films like ‘Shaadi’ and ‘Maidan-E-Jung’, paying a heartfelt tribute and wrote, “Manoj, mere yaar tere saath beeta har pal bahut yaad ayega (Manoj, my friend, I’ll remember every moment spent with you)” he said
Actress Zeenat Aman, who starred alongside Kumar in ‘Roti Kapda Aur Makaan’, also honored her co-actor with a still from the film, writing, “Saddened to learn about the passing of Manoj Kumar. May his soul rest in peace.”
