Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday visited Medanta Hospital to enquire about the health of the chief of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, Mahant Nritya Gopal Das.He urged doctors to ensure the best possible treatment for the seer. The CM shared pictures of the visit on X, stating that he met him and sought updates from doctors regarding his condition. He also prayed for his speedy recovery. According to the hospital administration, Mahant Nritya Gopal Das continues to remain in critical condition. He has been kept in the ICU, where a team of specialist doctors is closely monitoring his health. He was brought to Medanta Hospital from Ayodhya on Wednesday afternoon in a serious condition and was immediately shifted to the ICU after emergency admission. Medanta director Dr Rakesh Kapoor said the Mahant had been suffering from diarrhoea for several days and had not eaten for the past two to three days, leading to extreme weakness. A dedicated medical team, led by Dr Dileep Dubey, is treating him. Dr Dubey said the Mahant is suffering from stomach and kidney infections, and doctors from multiple departments are being consulted.
