Vadodara: Crime branch arrested Nandani Shinde, a resident of Ajwa Road, for cheating a man of Rs 21 lakh after promising him a work permit for the United Kingdom. Shinde had been absconding ever since the cheating case was registered at Gorwa police station in 2024.According to police, Shinde promised the complainant a work permit to the UK in 2023 and took Rs 21 lakh from him. She had signed an MoU with the complainant but later used fraudulent documents to cheat him. The victim filed a cheating case after she failed to get him the work permit.
