The deceased has been identified as Seema, wife of Rajendra Paswan. A blood stained banka has also been recovered near the dead body of the woman, due to which prima facie suspicion of murder is being raised.
As soon as information about the incident spread, a large number of villagers gathered at the spot. Villagers say that a person named Ram Sumer from the same village used to visit Seema’s house a lot. The villagers alleged that Ram Sumer had killed the woman by beating her. This incident created an atmosphere of anger and fear in the entire village.
As soon as the information was received, Sareni police station reached the spot, but the villagers stopped them from lifting the body. The villagers clearly said that until the murderer Ram Sumer is arrested, the body will not be allowed to be taken for post-mortem. During this period, a tense situation remained at the spot for a long time.
Meanwhile, police received information that accused Ram Sumer was lying in a suspicious condition in the field behind his house. Police immediately reached the spot and took him to the Community Health Center for treatment, where doctors declared him dead.
