Varanasi Accident: Pradeep (26), a resident of Shivrampur, died in a van collision on Friday in Ire Bazaar of Cholapur police station area of Varanasi district. Pradeep went to the Ier market in the morning to get some goods. He was crossing the road that the Maruti van, who was going from Sindaura towards the city at a high speed, hit him.
According to eyewitnesses, the collision was so tremendous that Pradeep fell several feet away. At the same time, the driver was caught by the local people and locked in the house. After this, the police was informed about the incident.
Police reached the spot and detained the driver. After this, the body was sent for postmortem. There was chaos in the family as soon as the incident was received. Family members, including their wife, are in a bad state.
