UPPCL: Electricity department appeals not to burn Holika near power poles or under power lines,

Khiro, Raebareli. Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation has appealed to all the electricity officers and common citizens to celebrate Holi on the National Highway. Do not burn Holika under electric poles or lines like these in which electricity is flowing. There is always a possibility of accident due to burning of Holika under the line.

All the rural and urban deities are appealed to organize Holika Dahan and burn it at a place some distance away from the power lines. There is always a possibility of melting, burning and breaking of aluminium wires and power cables due to eye light and any major incident can happen due to its falling.
