Upcoming Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 spied: What to expect, details

Fresh spy images of the upcoming Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 have surfaced from overseas test runs. While earlier test mules spotted in India hinted at a more aggressive, fairing-equipped version, the version spotted now appears without a quarter fairing. Here’s what we know so far and what can be expected from this upcoming motorcycle.

RE Continental GT 750: What to expect

Visually, the test bike looks completely in line with the Continental GT formula. It carries forward the familiar retro cafe racer stance featuring elements such as a round LED headlamp, clip-on handlebars, a neat fuel tank and a minimalist tail section. Besides that, it gets a lot of chrome work, including the engine components and dual exhausts. Seen in a glance, it looks majorly the same as the existing Continental GT 650. However, it does have distinctions in terms of hardware and equipment.

One of the biggest changes will be a new 750cc parallel-twin engine. While Royal Enfield has not confirmed official figures, the engine is expected to produce around 60 hp, along with torque figures in the region of 65 Nm. The suspension setup on the test bike appears straightforward, with conventional telescopic forks up front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Braking hardware also looks more serious than before, with a twin-disc setup at the front using ByBre callipers.Another key highlight is the instrument cluster. The Continental GT 750 seems to feature the same single-pod TFT display seen on models like the Himalayan 450, Guerrilla 450 and Bear 650. This unit offers smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation.
