Lucknow: The written examination under UP Police Recruitment 2025 for constable (civil police) and equivalent posts will be held on June 8, 9 and 10 in two shifts each day.The announcement was made by Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) on Tuesday. The recruitment drive aims to fill 32,679 posts, including constable civil police, PAC, SSF, jail warder and mounted police. Around 28.85 lakh candidates, who applied online, are expected to appear for the examination across the state. UPPRPB additional secretary (recruitment) Satyarth Aniruddh Pankaj said the selection of examination districts and centres is currently underway and will be finalised soon. He clarified that all examination-related information, including the detailed syllabus, admit cards, exam city details and instructions, will be made available on the board’s official website (uppbpb.gov.in). Candidates were advised to regularly visit the official website and avoid rumours or unofficial information circulating on social media. The board stressed that no information will be shared through any other medium. The recruitment notification for direct appointment was issued on Dec 31, following which the state govt granted a 3-year relaxation in the upper age limit for candidates of all categories.
