On Tuesday, a person raped a teenager in a village in Kuravali police station area and beat his brother. When the teenager was going towards the farm, the accused came from behind and caught him. After which the teenager started shouting for help, then the accused dragged him to a deserted place and carried out the rape. After screaming, when the victim’s brother reached the spot and opposed the incident, the accused also beat him.
When the accused saw the villagers coming, he asked to keep two mouths shut and escaped by threatening to kill him. Soon after receiving the information, the police reached the spot and started investigating the case. The victim reached the police station with her father and gave all the information related to the incident to the police personnel.
