UP CRIME NEWS: A young man abducted and asked for a ransom of two lakhs, police arrested miscreants in film style

UP CRIME NEWS ! The police arrested the accused who abducted a youth who was doing duty on a water tank from Gaddinpurwa village of Bakshi’s pond and taking a ransom of two lakh rupees from the family in a planned manner. The ransom amount has also been recovered from the accused.

Irfan, a resident of Gaddinpurwa village, took care of a water tank. Brother Imran alias Rauf said that on May 12, Irfan was kidnapped by some car in the car. After this, the phone and WhatsApp call and asked for a ransom amount from the family. After receiving the call, the family came to know about the kidnapping.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Crime Kamlesh Dixit said that a case of kidnapping was registered against Imran’s Tahrir. Investigation was launched on the basis of surveillance and call details of the calling number. When the miscreants called again for the ransom, the police asked Imran to agree to pay the ransom amount.
The police then planned to get Imran rescued. According to the police, Imran Bakshi’s pond reached the Acharamau underpass with money where the police was already deployed in plain clothes.
After this, the youth riding the car arrived and took two lakh rupees from Imran. Then the team caught the accused. At the same time, the police freed Irfan from the miscreants.
Three accused have been arrested in the incident. He was identified by Utkarsh Singh of Pratapgarh district, Mo. Mufid and Abdullah of Barabanki district have been arrested. The police have also recovered a mobile phone from them.
