Police have arrested three notorious vehicle thieves in Unnao. 10 motorcycles have been recovered from them. This success has been achieved by a joint team of SOG and surveillance along with Sadar Kotwali police. The Superintendent of Police disclosed in the Police Line auditorium that during vehicle checking, bike riders were stopped. Those who did not have the vehicle documents. During interrogation, they told that these were stolen motorcycles. Eight other stolen motorcycles have also been recovered on the identification of the vehicle thieves.
The incident is from Sadar Kotwali area.Unnao Superintendent of Police Deepak Bhukar said that suspicious vehicles were being checked near the Nirala Nagar intersection in Sadar Kotwali area. During this, Pankaj son of Ram Bahadur Singh resident of Singrausi police station Sadar Kotwali Unnao, Arman Goswami son of Ram Prakash Goswami resident of Netaji Nagar near Ramdevi police station Chakeri Kanpur Nagar, Ayush Verma son of Ram Janak Verma resident of Shiv Katra Qazi Kheda police station Chakeri Kanpur came out on two motorcycles. Ayush Verma is originally a resident of Sultanpur district.
8 bikes recovered from the ruins
The police asked the bike riders to show the vehicle papers. But they could not show the papers. On being questioned, they said that the bikes were stolen. These are stolen from other cities and sold in other districts. Eight other stolen motorcycles have been hidden near the ruins of the old ARTO office. These were stolen from Lucknow, Kanpur, Unnao and other cities and kept here. On the information given by the arrested vehicle thieves, eight motorcycles were recovered from near the ruins of the old ARTO office.
Several cases have been filed against all of them
Among the arrested accused Pankaj has seven cases registered against him in different police station areas of Unnao. While six cases are registered against Armaan Goswami in Kanpur Nagar, Unnao and four cases are registered against Ayush Verma. The arresting team included in-charge inspector of Kotwali Pramod Kumar Mishra, sub-inspector Rajesh Kumar Dixit, sub-inspector Anjani Singh, SWAT team in-charge Jai Prakash Yadav, in-charge surveillance sub-inspector Munna Kumar along with head constables, constables etc.

Hero Passion Pro black red coloured motorcycle without number, chassis number MBLHA10BSFGF01885 and engine number HA10EVFGF02771, Hero Splendor Plus black-blue coloured motorcycle without number, chassis number MBLHAR088HHJ13900 and engine number HA10AGHHJB2615, Hero Honda CD Dawn black red coloured motorcycle with number UP78CD 8836 and engine number MBLHA11ELA9K02804 and engine number A9K24727.
