To apply for a United Bank of India (UBI) credit card online, follow these steps. Please note that after the merger of United Bank of India with Punjab National Bank (PNB) in 2022, credit card services are now managed under PNB. Here’s the updated process:

Steps to Apply for a PNB (formerly UBI) Credit Card Online

  1. Visit the Official PNB Website
Go to Punjab National Bank’s credit card section:
    https://www.pnbindia.in/credit-card.html
  2. Explore Credit Card Options
Check the available PNB credit cards (e.g., PNB Platinum, PNB Visa Gold, or PNB Rupay Select). Compare features, rewards, fees, and eligibility.
  3. Check Eligibility Criteria

    • Minimum income (varies by card; e.g., ₹12,000–₹15,000/month for basic cards).
    • Good credit score (650+ preferred).
  4. Click “Apply Now”
Select your preferred card and click the Apply Now button.
  5. Fill the Online Application Form
    Provide:
    • Personal details (name, DOB, contact info).
    • Employment/income details.
    • PAN card and address information.
  6. Upload Documents
    Submit scanned copies of:
    • ID proof (PAN, Aadhaar, Passport).
    • Address proof (Utility bill, Aadhaar).
    • Income proof (salary slips, bank statements, ITR for self-employed).
  7. Submit and Track Application
Review details and submit. Note the application reference number for tracking via PNB’s portal or customer care.
  8. Verification & Approval
PNB may contact you for additional details. Approval depends on document verification and creditworthiness.
  9. Card Delivery
Upon approval, the card is dispatched to your registered address (usually 7–10 working days).

Important Notes

  • Customer Care: Call PNB’s helpline at 1800 180 2222 or 0120-2490000 for queries.
  • Post-Merger: All UBI services, including credit cards, are now under PNB.
  • Credit Score: Ensure your CIBIL score is healthy to improve approval chances.

Tips

  • Compare cards for rewards, fuel surcharge waivers, or airport lounge access.
  • Read terms for annual fees, interest rates, and late payment charges.
